If you’re like me and can’t resist the urge to buy yet another little white dress to your already growing collection, then this post is for you. Yes, LWDs are more of a spring/summer staple, but rest assured you can totally wear them in fall (maybe even winter, depending on where you live!). In fact, my most recent LWD looks more stylish when paired with boots than sandals. And once the weather gets cooler, it’ll look even more striking draped with a moto or bomber jacket and over-the-knee boots. But for now, I’ll stick with these booties (which are still in stock!) for a pre-fall statement. Check out my guide below for more inspiration! Psst: here’s the LWD dress I’m wearing and the booties (which are almost out of stock!).

How to style a LWD for fall:
Turtleneck – a stylish way to transition any dress to fall, this works best if the LWD is sleeveless or a slip dress.
Jacket – lace dresses look stunning when juxtaposed with an edgier piece like a leather moto jacket, a suede jacket, or the trendy bomber jacket. If you live in a warmer climate, a denim jacket will do.
Booties and OTK boots – this is the most versatile way to transition your LWD from summer to fall. Don’t just limit yourself to solid colors like black and taupe; try a dark floral print
