It’s finally spring, which means that, despite what your weather app may tell you (North-easterners, I’m looking at you), it’s officially time to splurge on spring clothes and shoes. Let’s start with the gladiator sandal, my favorite trend of the season, popularized by the Chloe spring/summer 2015 collection. Though gladiators are usually associated with bare calves and bohemian lace dresses à la a free-spirited , they can be perfectly adapted for everyday jeans or work pants (since, you know, it’s still cold outside). While you can get away with wearing high lace-up gladiators with baggier jeans like this Chloe runway model, you’ll want to stick with lower lace-ups for skinny or bootcut jeans. Scroll through to find my top gladiator picks that you can wear now with your choice of bottoms and a mandatory pedicure. And believe me, you’ll want to wear them now before the trend becomes overly saturated by July and no longer cool. (Is that even possible, though? Gladiators have always been cool.)
