If you follow me on Instagram, some of these images may look familiar. But for my last post of 2014 it only felt right to archive these festive photos and thoughtful gifts on my blog. Here’s a roundup of some of my favorite moments of the month.
As a Murad Ambassador, I have the privilege of receiving several products courtesy of the brand (yay!), and many are now staples on my beauty counter. Since my skin has been dry and flakey lately I was really glad to receive the White Clay Body Cleanser and AHA Hand Cream, which hydrate skin and promise to reduce signs of aging. So far I’m loving both products. The cleanser is a must-have if you have dry skin and the hand cream is soothing for hands and body.
Who doesn’t love confetti nails? This glittery polish by Deborah Lippmann instantly brightens my mood. I only wish it didn’t chip so easily.

Any other Birchbox addicts out there? December’s box was seriously decked out with 7 outstanding samples. From Davines Replumpling shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in treatment, all of which are recommended for adding volume and nourishing strands, to the shiny rose gold eyeliner from Vasanti. A+ box.

Every December I look forward to the holiday windows at major department stores. Here’s one of my favorites from Lord & Taylor off 5th avenue.
A tree wonderland at the Festival of Trees & Traditions at the Wadsworth Atheneum. Even though I don’t celebrate Christmas, I can always appreciate a pretty tree.
