If you’re like me, Tibi’s colorful selection of coats have caught your eye all season – heck, ever since February when they graced the runway. Among the slew of pink and purple coats from the fall 2014 shows, there was one tone that made a quiet statement. Maybe it’s because it runs the risk of clashing with denim, or maybe it’s because it almost always gets overshadowed by navy, but at Libertine, Cynthia Rowley, and Tibi, powder blue was a color to be embraced for fall.
Sure, you could justify the exorbitant price of the gorgeous Tibi wool coat (straight from the runway, mind you) as an investment piece that you can keep forever and ever, because pastel blue looks ultra flattering at any age. But in case you can’t phentermine quick weight loss justify it, there’s a wallet-friendly alternative from Topshop that’s on trend and pretty warm, too. I tried the coat on at Nordstrom over the weekend and like a lot of Topshop clothes this was one fits true to size for petites. Of course, with the all other pastel options this season, it’s hard to commit to just one. But one thing pastel blue has over lavender and pink is its versatility. Style with a grid pattern tunic and over-the-knee boots for a mod look or with bold prints and patterns.

Which one do you prefer? I’m partial to the Tibi coat for the shade and texture but the Topshop version is a close second.
