Remember when pink coats were all the rage last year? They’re baaaack. While the fall 2014 runways sported darker hues, I’m still coveting soft sugary pastels that remind me of macarons… strawberry macarons. But I digress – back to the clothes! Pink coats are universally flattering and a prettier alternative to the typical neutral-tones you’ve exhausted every season. Even Pharrell knows pink is the it coat color for fall.
Plus they make the cooler months feel a little more like spring (is it too early to be thinking about spring??). Style with over-the-knee black, brown, or oxblood boots to juxtapose the soft hues for a more seasonally appropriate look. Check out some of my favorite pieces below.
