Full confession: I was nervous about this collaboration post. Not necessarily due to the overalls per se, but the possible denim aspect. In fact, when I was searching for overalls everyone was telling me to steer clear of buying anything denim especially in a light wash, because it’s “not [my] style” and I could “risk looking like a farmer.” I’m guilty of thinking this too; just a few months ago I wrote a post on overalls in which I strongly advised against wearing denim and instead suggested “cooler” fabrics like leather and velvet. Fast forward to this past weekend where I was frantically looking for overalls for this post (I procrastinate on everything) and finally settled on a pair that didn’t look too far outside my comfort zone. In an effort to adapt the overalls to my style, I added a couple of wardrobe staples order adipex online that are practically my everyday uniform: a striped shirt and strappy pointed pumps.
After wearing overalls for a whole day I decided that, overall, I really like overalls (sorry, I’m so lame for making that pun; I couldn’t resist!). They are comfortable and bring back memories of the ’90s (sigh). I’m not sure how I’m going to style these once the weather gets chillier since they don’t fit well over bulkier fabrics, but I could see a moto jacket in the works. I love how my fellow blogger friends – Rachel of The Rachel Ross, Wesley of EatShopLiveNYC, and Stephanie of A Sparkle Factor – styled their overalls (Rachel and I are pretty obsessed with stripes as you can see!).
