It’s
If you’re still hesitant about applying any oils to your face, rest assured the following products are non-greasy, won’t clog pores, and are free of sulfates, phthalates or parabens. Intrigued yet? Read on for my top picks.
Boscia Tsubaki Beauty Oil: If you dream of waking up with radiant skin and foregoing foundation the next day, this oil is for you. Anytime I wear this to sleep, my skin is significantly softer and brighter the next day with blemishes and fine lines magically diminished, as if someone Photoshopped my face overnight. It is no wonder tsubaki oil has been a cult favorite in Japan for centuries.
*Olie Biologique Huile Radicale 005 Rejuvenating Oil: Pure Argan oil goodness (it is 100% organic), this product has been was a godsend during the dry polar vortex months and is nicely transitioning to warmer days that call for minimal makeup and a dewy complexion. I like to wear this during the day under a lightweight BB or CC cream and cream blush.

Nyakio Hydrating Face Oil: I’m a bit of a coffee addict, so when I discovered this caffeine-rich face oil infused with African kola nut, I naturally hoped it would feign a good night’s sleep…and it did. It kept my skin and smooth and hydrated for the full 12 hours it promised. I didn’t apply this to my under-eyes but the caffeine ingredient seems like it would make a great eye serum.
Seventh Generation Hydrating Boost: Sometimes you need to fight oil with oil – specifically, jojoba oil. The nourishing serum balances complexion and reduces sebum production making it a must-have for the acne-prone. I hardly breakout since using this product.
Though I love all four of these beauty oils, I’m still experimenting with other oils (because, beauty blogging). Tonight I’m wearing Caudalie’s Anti-Wrinkle Defense Serum and along with Caudalie’s Detox Oil. Hopefully, I’ll wake up like Queen Bey in the morning. Are you won over on the face oil trend yet? Let me know what face oils you like (or dislike!) in the comments.
