If there’s one fashion rule I vehemently oppose it would have to be “don’t wear white after Labor Day.” If anything, I find myself wearing more white in the fall and winter months than spring and summer. Perhaps it’s because the color evokes images of snowflakes and, as a Florida girl who romanticizes winter, I think snowflakes are the coolest thing ever. But I digress… I realize many people wear white in warmer months and opt for darker colors when the temperature drops and the days are shorter (I don’t think that’s a coincidence). So, how is one to transition white to winter? Put simply, there’s one main thing to remember: fabric. Think tweed, boucle, jacquard, wool, cashmere leather, fur, velvet, suede, and shearling for the cooler months phentermine 37.5 usa instead of organza, chiffon, crepe, and silk; tulle and lace are applicable to all seasons. Fall and winter encompass a wider variety of luxurious fabrics conducive to layering, which is probably why I prefer fall runway shows over spring. That’s why I turned to the fall 2013 fashion week shows for inspiration. Although the possibilities are endless, I put together three ways to wear white – with black, neutral, and metallic.
