Happy December! I hope you’ve all had a satisfying Thanksgiving and safe Black Friday (and Saturday) with your friends and family. As you probably already know from my tweets, I prefer to shop online – especially on Black Friday, so I am not one to partake in the crazy Black Friday rituals that resemble Dawn of the Dead. Nonetheless, I always look forever to Black Friday shopping (online), though I do find myself questioning whether I’m getting the best deal possible what with Cyber Monday just days away. Will the price further decrease on Cyber Monday? Should I buy it now or risk it getting sold out if I wait for Monday? #shoppingdilemmas. If you’re in the buy-it-now-before-it-sells-out camp (I’m with you, btw, because size 6 shoes are always the first to get sold out), I’ve got the scoop on last-minute deals before that J.Crew gem necklace becomes the one that got away…
Like this tulle holiday party dress from Free People, which is now only available in ivory and an XS; it wasn’t even on sale. Don’t worry, the ‘Sugarberry’ holiday dress from Anthropologie is still available AND is 20% off (as is everything else in the store), but we don’t expect it to last much longer either. For an equally festive accessory to complement any party dress, we love this cross body crystal fringe bag from Maison Martin Margiela (and apparently, others liked it too because there’s only 2 left!), plus take 25% off the bag with code BIGEVENT13.
Looking for winter essentials like cashmere? Gilt has several pieces under 100.
J. Crew necklaces have a knack for selling out quickly, which is why I don’t expect this fringe statement necklace to last much longer after their 30% off holiday sale.
Lusting after leather pants? Me too. Hurry, these faux leather leggings from Michael Kors are almost sold out. And how about an edgy jacket to accompany those leather pants? Take an extra 40% off this boucle jacket with leather sleeves from Intermix. Over-the-knee boots? You got it, sister-friend. These flat OTK boots from Derek Lam are 40% off at Nordstrom.
And last but not least, lipstick. This lip macaron set is the cutest thing ever.
On a less consumerist note, I included this song by Regina Spektor because it’s December 1st and Sunday. You can listen to it as you shop. Enjoy!
