As we inch nearer to fall, one of the runway trends I have my eye on is colorful, vibrant fur. I have long been a fan of fur (including faux fur) vests and jackets to keep warm in the frigid northeast winters. My favorite fur piece is a blueish grey studded vest from LaROK picked up from an NYC sample sale in 2008; it’s still in immaculate condition for the upcoming season and remains stylishly relevant if these runway photos are any indication. My favorite is a multi-colored 1960’s-inspired fur coat from Anna Sui that is as much an homage to London sophistication as it is to Anna Sui’s signature bohemian and eclectic brand. See more looks from BCBG Max Azria, Marni, Emilio Pucci, Alice + Olivia, So Jung Wan, and Carmen Marc Valvo whose sumptuous violet fur vest is the epitome of ladylike.
