The Resort 2014 collection is here and I’ve had to resist the urge to pin every single image from Style.com*. Some patterns I’ve noticed across the runway are stripes, florals (sometimes stripes with florals – see: Alice + Olivia and Nanette Lepore), bold and vibrant colors, asymmetrical necklines (most evident in the Versace collection), black and white ensembles, and polka dots/hearts. I’m excited to see asymmetry is making a comeback, and that stripes and florals aren’t going away anytime soon.
