My
Naturally, the first thing I did was try the lip fattener, though I was hesitant at first because other lip plumper glosses have been overwhelmingly tingly. But surprise, surprise! This one didn’t hurt at all; it was like putting on a regular lip gloss. The gloss, which is a pale pink color called La Lip Jolie, adds shine, moisture, and a pleasant cooling effect. Unfortunately, the plumpness was minimal. To be honest, I didn’t notice much of a difference in the plumpness of my lips, though the description does say the effect is subtle (so maybe I’m being too hard on myself?). Unlike other lip glosses, this one isn’t sticky, however it does wear out quickly. I found myself reapplying it after only 20 minutes.
Another sample I’m looking forward to trying is LAFACE Laboratories Age Defying Primer. Primer is one of those makeup items that I tend to overlook or deem as unnecessary, so I’ve never really tried it. Just a week or so ago, I had a conversation with a Smashbox makeup artist who claimed Smashbox has the best primer on the market. Now I’m tempted to get a sample just so I can compare it to LAFACE. Stay tuned for a review.
