Every January millions of people make a promise to themselves to eat better and go to the gym regularly. Whether you’re one of those people or not doesn’t matter. It’s never too early or too late to adopt a healthier lifestyle, so if you started 2017 on a lazy note (hi, me!), just know that you don’t need to wait for 2018 to make positive changes. Last year, I made a promise to myself to get back into yoga, and by the end of the year I had attended 20 classes. That may not sound like much, but that’s 20 more than the year before! I also discovered barre classes, which really built up my endurance (a plus for yoga). And then there’s the good old-fashioned gym where I do some cardio and some weight training, some days of the week (month?). People who know me would definitely laugh at the last part since I’m far from regimented or fit. But any workout is better than no workout, and hey, at least my pants look cool!
