Enter ASOS. After one-too-many failed jumpsuit attempts (H&M and Mango, I’m looking at you) I stumbled upon a petite-sized jumpsuit from ASOS that almost fits perfectly – let’s be honest, the inseam could use a little work. Nonetheless, I won’t complain since the waist and top are more fitted than most of their counterparts. Even though I love the look of all-black jumpsuits, this one appeared a bit too monochromatic, so I added a gold belt as an accent. Take a look.

Another jumpsuit I’ve been wearing a lot this season is a flowing, wide-legged jumpsuit from Forever 21 – the very opposite of a petite jumpsuit. For a long time I avoided wearing wide-legged pants but after wearing this jumpsuit I realized they actually elongate legs (style really is trial and error!). Here is an example of how an “oversized” jumpsuit can still look flattering even if you’re petite. Even though it trails on the floor if I don’t wear heels, I absolutely love wearing this jumpsuit. It also helps that the large floral print makes me feel like I’m about to go on a Hawaiian vacation.
