I’ve always been a little bit of a cat lady. Like many people in my age cohort (see: millennials), I have owned a cat at one point, follow Grumpy Cat on Facebook, and am easily amused by kitteh memes and gifs. I even owned a Hello Kitty iPhone case before it became cool, and now that Jesse Pinkman has one, too (sorry for the spoiler, Breaking Bad fans!), this dainty little accessory is a sure sign of street cred.
Perhaps it’s my endearment for and identification with these playful yet mysterious and introverted creatures that has informed my style aesthetic. Leopard print is my go-to accent and neutral for completing an outfit. Although leopard is branded as wild and loud, I prefer to tone it down a notch or two by pairing it with monochrome colors or denim. Speaking of monochrome, this abstract cat graphic buy phentermine adipex online sweater from Alice + Olivia featured below strikes a harmonious balance between wild and sophisticated for those who don’t like to get too crazy with their wardrobe.
With that said, embrace your inner cat lady this fall with these feline-inspired clothes and accessories. And because no cat post is complete without an obligatory cat pic, scroll down for a look at one precious cat I owned briefly when I lived in the Middle East a few summers ago.
